Our chapel colours

Grey on white, we fade away

A thousand endings

Drawn in confetti splinters

Across a pale, autumn sky

  2. Thanks Elsie, sometimes I feel like they should be more about painting a picture, but this is how they seem to pop out. Who are we to question the muse?
Splendid week, I have no idea where Tuesday went. Many blessings to you my friend 🍂

  4. Oh you’re kidding me!! You never wrote a poem till you joined WP???? Wowza, I’d never have guessed it–you’ve got raw natural talent, dear heart! My writing has improved in the 5 yrs I’ve been here on the blogs–you can’t help but pick up inspiration, tips, just by reading good poets. It’s osmosis or diffusion or some such magical thing that happens 🙂

  6. Ohhh, I am so glad you “love this place”–WP blogs. When I can afford to pay for an upgrade, I will–because their Support staff is incredible! Free blogs have to depend on the Forums, which just isn’t the same 🙂 Best wishes to you!

  7. They say that smell is the most evocative of all the senses. The smell of fallen leaves gets me every time. Just the sweet, memory trigger that takes me back to bonfires and leaf mountains, and my Dad.
